Saying that she had nothing to fear, Vice President Leni Robredo is ready to face the sedition complaint and other criminal charges over the controversial “Ang Totoong Narcolist (The Real Narcolist)” videos.

Vice presidential spokesperson Barry Gutierrez said the filing of criminal complaint against Robredo was not something new since she has been a subject of political harassment.

The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group has filed the criminal complaints against Robredo and 35 others before the Department of Justice . Gutierrez, who is also the legal adviser to Robredo, dismissed the complaint as “mere rumors, trumped-up charges, and a tall tale.”

“In fact, gulat na gulat kami na pati si VP Leni isinangkot dito. Wala naman talaga siyang—hindi niya kilala itong si Advincula. Kahit kailan hindi sila nagkita,” Gutierrez said.
