Residents of over a dozen communities at Magboro in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, in their hundreds stormed the Ogun State

House of Assembly complex Tuesday, appealing to the state legislators and Governor Dapo Abiodun to help them retrieve their properties from land grabbers.

The distraught landlords and landladies said they purchased the land upon which they built their homes and having lived there for the past 20 years, were surprised to see suspected land grabbers invade the area last week when many of them had gone to work, sealed some homes with “court possession notices” and outrightly “locked others with padlocks and chains.”

He appealed to the Ogun Assembly and the Governor on behalf of members of 15 Community Development Associations in Magboro, to intervene and help them recover their properties by invoking the anti – land grabbing laws of Ogun State against the irritant land grabbers.
