Remembering Umaru Shinkafi
Despite losing former presidential aspirant, Alhaji Umaru Shinkafi, Marafan Sokoto, four years ago, his life and times are still fresh in the memories of his loved ones and associates.
The elder statesman died in a London hospital at the age of 79 after suffering from a heart ailment for some time. To celebrate him, the maiden Umaru Shinkafi Intelligence & Security Summit took place virtually on July 23, 2020, and it was well attended by top personalities in Nigerian society.
