REC assures of peaceful elections in FCT

Bello, who stated this during his oversight visit to the polling units in the FCT added that all logistic and personnel arrangements had been made in the six area councils.“The elections have commenced in all polling units in the FCT, people have started voting.

“We have been monitoring the process and all things are good so I urged residents to come out, vote and wait for the results. Bello urged residents not to panic but go out to vote credible candidates capable of bringing transformation to the territory.FCT Polls: We’ll vote individuals, not parties – FCT residents

Bello said that the six area councils had 62 wards and 871 polling units, with 1,344,856 registered voters.
