We’re already two weeks into the new year, and as Nigerians resume their hustle and bustle of daily life, now is the perfect time to discuss how prioritising wellness is essential for maintaining physical energy and mental balance throughout the year.

Often relegated to luxury or occasional indulgence, spa therapy should be an essential part of the Nigerian healthcare routine. The reason for this should be clear to everyone. However, I’ll explain the why in the rest of this opinion piece for those who don’t know.

Regular spa therapy has been shown to improve overall well-being among those who make it a routine to visit the spa. By introducing spa therapy into their monthly or bi-weekly health routines, Nigerians can experience enhanced productivity and vitality in 2025.For many Nigerians, the cost of spa therapy can be a significant barrier.
