In a statement released by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP charged President Tinubu to use his New Year address to provide concrete solutions to the country's pressing issues, including insecurity, fuel scarcity, and food crisis.
The party expressed disappointment with the President's previous addresses, which they claim were filled with empty rhetoric, unsubstantiated statistics, and false promises. The PDP emphasized that President Tinubu must take responsibility for addressing the nation's problems, rather than simply making speeches. The PDP cautioned the APC government against carrying over its anti-people policies into 2025, warning that such actions would further exacerbate the patience and sensibility of Nigerians.
