Protest: Yusuf alleges plot to unleash violence in Kano

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has alleged a plan by political actors to hijack the hunger mass protest to unleash terror

on businesses and innocent citizens.

The governor maintained the protesters are empowered under the constitution of Nigeria to register their displeasure against hunger and poverty in Nigeria, he reminded of an orchestrated move to hijack the demonstration. “We are not against any plan protest aimed at demanding good governance. We are aware of the prevailing poverty and hunger in the land. But any protest deliberately plan to cause mayhem in Kano will not to allowed.
