A 55-minute documentary on the Presidential Business Forum, which was held on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA, will air on Saturday, January 21 through Monday, January 23, 2023.

The documentary produced by the Presidency chronicles the proceedings of the Nigeria International Economic Partnership Forum jointly hosted by the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Business Council on International Understanding and the Nigerian Mission in Washington.

This is according to a statement signed by the President’s Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, titled ‘Documentary on Presidential Business Forum in New York showing on TV’. “In furtherance of the role of the private sector as a major driver of Nigeria’s industrialisation, the Muhammadu Buhari administration convened a business summit on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States in September 2022.

“The Presidential summit which was jointly hosted by the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Business Council on International Understanding, BCIU, and the Nigerian Mission in Washington, was successful in reiterating the fact that the Nigerian economy has been able to sustain its growth and recovery momentum despite the globally-induced and locally-triggered social and economic challenges,” the statement read.
