The Niger Delta Development Commission governing board will converge in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital for a three-day management retreat, starting from Thursday January 19 till Saturday, January 21, 2023.
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the governing board of the NDDC was inaugurated with Lauretta Onochie, a former Special Assistant on New Media to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , as the chairman. Onochie represents Delta State on the board.
Dr. Samuel Ogbokwu from Bayelsa State was named as the Managing Director of the commission; Major-General Charles Airhiavbere from Edo State, serves as the Executive Director, Finance; and Charles Ogunmola from Ondo State was named as the Executive Director, Projects. Others include; Dr. Emem Willcox Wills ; Dimgba Erugba ; Elder Denyanbofa Dimaro ; Orok Duke ; Gbenga Edema ; Elekwachi Dimkpa ; Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Abubakar ; Alhaji Prince Sule-Ikoh representing North-Central Zone; Sani Sami and Prof. Tahir Mamman, SAN, .All rights reserved.
