The ‘President-elect’, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, had a closed-door meeting with Aliyu Berata, one of the leading aspirants for the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the yet-to-be-inaugurated 10th National Assembly. Betara is the House of Representatives member representing Biu/Bayo/Shani/Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria, which is the home state of Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima.
