President Muhammadu Buhari, through the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has constituted the boards of aviation agencies a few hours before handing over power to the ‘President-elect’, Bola Tinubu.

According to a statement made available to journalists by the Head Press and Public Relations of the aviation ministry, Oluseyi Odutayo, the agencies include the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority , the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria , the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency , the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology , the Nigerian Meteorological Agency and the recently created Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau .

Similarly, Dr Imoro Kubor is to lead the NiMet board with four institutional members representing the Ministries of Aviation, Agriculture and Natural, Resources, Environment and Transportation with Dr Adebayo Yinka and Prof. Aliyu Umar Tambuwal as members, while NCAT would be led by Capt. Jonathan Ibrahim with institutional members including the Ministry of Aviation, NCAA, Nigeria’s ICAO representative; representative of the aviation sector, Engr.
