The Presidency has appealed to Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, to return to the fold. This comes after El-Rufai's recent criticisms of the Tinubu-led government.Daniel Bwala, a media aide to President Bola Tinubu made the plea on Thursday via the social media platform X.Recall that following criticisms by the former Kaduna governor, Bwala reached out to El-Rufai, reminding him that he was one of the key figures who campaigned for the president in 2023.
His words: “Still my senior brother @elrufai , I am sure you don’t need anyone to tell you about my respect and admiration for you, not just for your brilliance , but also as one of the brightest we have from the northern extraction. I am not stating it for the first time today and you know that. “My worry however is the motive behind your statements and actions; they are not borne out of patriotism, but need for vengeance.
