Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has weighed in on the alleged rift between the All Progressives Congress and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. In an interview on Channels TV's Politics Today program, Governor Sule downplayed the speculation surrounding El-Rufai's loyalty to the APC.'El-Rufai has not left our party; he is still part of the party,' Sule said on Wednesday night.
He said, 'I don't know what he is doing, I do not know where he is, I don't know anything about his movement.'Regarding El-Rufai's ministerial rejection, Governor Sule pointed out that the decision to appoint or reject ministers lies solely with President Bola Tinubu.El-Rufai's bid to become a minister was unsuccessful after he failed to pass the Nigerian Senate screening hurdles.
