The Nation Newspaper Polytechnic students petition EFCC over alleged misappropriation of N20 billion intervention fund
has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over the alleged diversion of more than N20 billion intervention funds belonging to the Cement Technology Institute of Nigeria .
President of NAPS, Comrade Muniru Opeyemi presented the petition to the EFCC and Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment on behalf of the polytechnic students. The students appealed to the Chairman of EFCC, Ola Olukoyede and Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, to “without delay launch investigation into the allegation of diversion of the intervention fund meant for training of students and development of CTIN, urging the Federal Government to dissolve the board of the institute with immediate effect.
