The Nation Newspaper Lasisi is Ibadan Polytechnic Acting Rector

A statement by Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Prof. Salihu Adelabu said Lasisi is to serve in an acting capacity for six months from March 25- September 25, 2024.

He said the government looks forward to his hard work, diligence and professionalism in realizing mission for the institution. It said: “He received a Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Statistics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Statistics from the University of Botswana, Botswana, South Africa.“He was a former Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Academic Planning and Control Unit, The Polytechnic Ibadan, among other administrative responsibilities that he has upheld in my academic career.
