I just remembered that our next census is going to be in April, immediately after the elections in February and March. If there is need for a run off presidential election, it would happen just as the census is taking off. No sane country would roll out two massive high-cost events that require massive logistics and security arrangements within just days apart.

Nigerian Passport Falls By 38 Places In Global Ranking Between 2006 And 2022 | Sahara ReportersThe Henley Passport Index reports have shown that the Nigerian passport has fallen by 38 places in a global passport ranking in the last 17 years between 2006 and 2022. The Henley Passport Index ranks passports according to the number of countries their holders can access visa-free or with a visa-on-arrival programme. The Nigerian passport gained 11 more destinations but it fell from 62nd in 2006 to 100th in 2022, showing a steady fall in strength amongst the 199 countries and 227 travel destinations studied, PUNCH quoted the index reports.

Two Nigerian Bankers Jailed 3 Years For N9.4Million ATM Card Fraud In Makurdi | Sahara ReportersThe Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Wednesday convicted and sentenced two bankers – one Agbo John Agama and Edoh Steve – to three years imprisonment for fraud. They were convicted by Justice Mojisola Olajuwon for conspiracy, aiding and abetting fraud to the tune of nine million and four hundred thousand naira (N9,400,000). The convicts were prosecuted on one count by the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
