Some agents of Nigerian betting company, Bet9ja, have berated the company over a new bonus target policy it purportedly introduced. According to the said policy, which took effect in January 2023, agents are expected to turn in sales of N150,000 on “sport” product, to get N30,000 bonus, which some of them claimed was not like that before. Some of them who spoke to SaharaReporters also complained of low turnout of customers compared to before.

Some of them who spoke to SaharaReporters also complained of low turnout of customers compared to before. “Since these new target policies came up I make good sales on virtual, I never collected any bonus because the sport target has been attached to the requisite to get the bonus, imagine in my shop making sales of N1.2 million on virtual and make sales of N100 on sport, I didn’t get bonus.
