The Rivers State Police Command has rescued a Lebanese, Bilal Nosser from a kidnappers’ den in Ndashi forest, Etche Local Government Area of the state.
Bilal, popularly known as Mister Bee is said to be a renowned Nollywood actor, who was kidnapped in the early hours of Friday in Imo State and taken to a forest in Ndashi; where he was rescued by operatives of the Okehi Police Station led by the DPO. Spokesman of the Command, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, said in the course of his rescue, one of the members of the gang, Faith Nwagor, who was keeping watch over the kidnap victim was arrested while others escaped.The statement reads, “In the course of his rescue, one of the members of the gang by name Nwagor Faith ‘m’, who was keeping watch over him, was arrested while others took to flight.“Consequently, efforts have been intensified to arrest his fleeing members and recover their Operational weapons.
