THE Rivers State Police Command has rescued a Lebanese and Nollywood actor, Bilal Nosser, who was abducted in Imo State by gunmen.

Nosser was rescued while his captors were taking him to Ndashi forest in Etche Local Government Area of the Rivers State by his abductors.

The State Police Commissioner, Mr. Joseph Mukan, in a statement, on Saturday, confirmed the rescue of the Lebanese and arrest of one of his captors identified as Faith Nwagor. “In the course of his rescue, one of the members of the gang by the name Nwagor Faith ‘m’ who was keeping watch over him was arrested, while others took to flight. He has made useful confessions and named other members of his criminal gang.

Mukan, however, appealed to members of the public, particularly the residents of Etche and Omuma LGAs to increase their security consciousness and report any suspicious movements and characters to the police via the following security numbers; 08032003514, 08103696460 and 08033396538. “He said they have a new hotel for me to take over and that they also have a new movie for me to feature in because they needed a white man to feature in it.
