Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Polycarp-Emeka, stated this during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt.
The CP noted that a holistic approach to security through prompt intelligence sharing and formidable inter-agency collaborations will enhance effective service delivery, especially in the fulfilment of the statutory mandate of every security outfit. The state NSCDC commandant, Basil Igwebueze, in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Olumide Ayodele, assured the police authority of synergy to rid the state of criminals.
