Two wanted terrorists were killed in a gun battle after attempting to kidnap a man in Katsina state, Nigeria. One victim was injured with a knife.

The Katsina State police command has confirmed the killing of two wanted terrorists. The Katsina police assistant spokesperson, Abubakar Aliyu, in a statement revealed that the terrorists were killed on Monday when they attempted to kidnap one Yahaya Usman at his residence.

He explained that the security operatives attached to the Bindawa divisional headquarters led by the Divisional Police Office , received a report of an attack and dashed to the location where they engaged the terrorists in a gun battle.
