The operatives of the Katsina State Police Command killed two terrorists during a gun duel in the Dutsinma Local Government Area of the state.
“Immediately, the terrorists-bandits opened fire on the police operatives, but the officers valiantly returned fire, forcing the terrorists to abandon their evil plan and flee into the nearby bush.
“While combing the scene, the bodies of two neutralised suspected terrorist bandits as well as one Ak-47 rifle were recovered. Effort is still on with a view to arresting the fleeing suspects,” the PPRO said. The Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa, lauded his men for their bravery, while urging Katsina residents to keep providing the command and other security agencies with crucial and timely information on criminal activities so that swift action could be taken to stop criminal activities in the state.All rights reserved.
