Ahead of the Eid al-Adha festival celebrations, the Katsina State Police Command has sent a warning note to mischief makers, social miscreants, popularly
referred to as “Kauraye” and other hoodlums in the state to desist from fomenting trouble or face the wrath of law during the festivities.
He said: “The command uses this medium to draw the attention of mischief makers, social miscreants, popularly known as “Kauraye”, and other hoodlums to desist from fomenting trouble before, during, and after the Sallah festivities. Against this backdrop, the command called on parents and guardians to play their part by warning and ensuring that their children/wards stay off substance abuse and other forms of anti-social activities during and after the festival.
