The Osun State Police Command on Thursday commenced trial of the riot policeman that reportedly shot a motorcyclist, Saheed Olabomi in Osogbo.
The spokesperson for the command, Yemisi Opalola, in a chat with our correspondent, said the trial would continue until decision was made on the matter. Opalola, who declined releasing more details concerning the matter, however assured residents that the command would ensure justice. “The trial of the police operative commenced this evening. It was even witnessed by the Commissioner, Mr.Olawale Olokode. We will ensure that justice is served,” Opalola said.
