The police said they have commenced the enforcement of curfew in Abuja.
This followed a presidential directive imposing an overnight curfew in the nation’s capital between 8pm and 6am daily, starting from Monday.
It advised members of the public to comply with the presidential directive and stay at home within the curfew hours.“Those arrested for violating this directive will be detained and arraigned at the mobile courts the next morning,” the police stated.
