Nasarawa State Police command says it has arrested 15 suspected cultists who are allegedly students of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic
“The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adesina Soyemi swiftly mobilised a formidable team comprising of personnel of the Command’s Anti-cultism, Anti-kidnapping and SWAT to the cultist hideouts at D.D World Street located at Ombi 1 Lafia opposite the state Polytechnic and arrested 15 suspected cult members.”
He reiterated the Command’s commitment to protect lives and property of citizens of the state, urging parents and guardians to warn their wards and proteges to refrain from any unlawful gathering. He also cautioned hoteliers, proprietors of lounges and other recreational facilities across the state against consenting to the use of their facilities or properties to harbour cult related activities.
ASP Nansel said that the Commissioner of Police has directed that all the suspects be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
