Senator Dame Nora Daduut representing Plateau South Senatorial district has condemned endless attacks on some communities in Plateau State that saw to the
Plateau North Senatorial district has been under attacks particularly at nights for some weeks and months by gun men suspected to be Fulani herders.
She pointed out that communities in Bassa and Riyom Local Government Council Areas in Plateau North have been under siege by armed criminals, adding that all necessary measures be put in place to stop the deteriorating situation. She said, the attackers should be made to pay for their heinous crimes, while describing the ugly development as unfortunate even as government has been doing all it could to maintain peace in the State.
Senator Dadu’ut commended Governor Simon Lalong for summoning a security meeting said that she is confident that the Lalong led Government will engage all stakeholders in addressing the matter with a view to bringing an end to the unfortunate and unacceptable attacks on innocent citizens aimed at disrupting the peace of the affected areas and the State at large.
