The 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi has declined the move by the leadership of the Shanahan College of Nursing Sciences, Nsukka to name its hall after him.

Reverend Father Kelvin Caesar, the institution’s manager had pleaded with the former governor of Anambra State to permit the school name the hall after him. He said that he has also made donations to over 50 institutions across the country and it would be improper for all of them to be named after him.
