Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi spoke about the challenges of being in opposition in Nigeria, detailing the struggles his family and business face due to his stance against the current government.

A former governor of Anambra state and the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party , Peter Obi has said that being in the opposition in Nigeria is challenging. Speaking in video during a press conference seen by Politics Nigeria , Obi said his family and business faces a lot of challenges because is part of the opposition to the present government. He said, “If you know what I face, what I go through, what my family go through, you won’t even believe I should be standing.

I see colleagues, I greet them at the airport, they don’t even want to reply because they feel, they want the government of the day to see you or see them greeting you. “Your business, everything you’re involved with is dismantled,” Obi added
