A fresh crisis of confidence has hit the Peoples’ Democratic Party as seven members of its National Executive Committee resigned from their offices on Tuesday.
He said “Mr. Uche Secondus, the national chairman of the party is incompetent of managing the affairs of this party, he lacks the managerial capacity to manage PDP.
“Today, I have asked him in our NWC meeting to resign his position as the chairman of this party because he cannot lead this party to victory.” He threatened to leave the party should Secondus remain in office. This was contained in a statement titled, “PDP Governors call for calm, ask detractors to leave PDP alone”, signed by the PDPGF Chairman, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
