The fire incident which happened at around 4pm on Wednesday caused panic among workers and patients at the hospitalFire on Wednesday engulfed a building on the premises of the Lagos State University T
eaching Hospital in the Ikeja area of Lagos state.
Confirming the incident, the Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, said that officials of the agency were mobilised to the scene and that the fire had been put out.Weeks ago, the popular Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos was also on fire and it took the same efforts of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service to put it out.
