Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has credited his Galatasaray teammates for helping him adapt quickly to life at the Turkish club.
Victor Osimhen has praised his Galatasaray teammates for helping him settle down quickly at the club. Osimhen arrived the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan from Napoli in the summer. The 25-year-old has become a key player for the Yellow and Reds. The Nigerian scored two goals in Galatasaray 's 5-1 victory over Kayserispor on Sunday night. The striker has so far scored 12 goals and provided five assists for Okan Buruk's men.
'It was very important to come to this team and be a part of this big club and adapt quickly. All my teammates and staff played a very important role in this,' Osimhen told the club's official website. 'They made me feel at home from the very first moment. I adapted very easily. I learned how Barış, Yunus and other players play. I had already played with Dries before. 'I was very happy to be able to get in between them and help them the way I wanted. We continue undefeated in the league and in Europe. Galatasaray are unbeaten in the league this season after 16 games. Osimhen said it is important for the team to maintain the same momentum for the rest of the campaign. 'As our coach said, we need to go step by step. Every match is very important for us. We also have goals in the Super League. We want to continue on our way,' he added
