Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has denied allegation that he ordered the demolition of houses behind Mid-Way Inn in Logo I community in a suburb of Makurdi.

Residents of some buildings within the affected communities were taken aback three days ago when without an alleged notice, a heavy duty bulldozer forcefully pulled down their houses.
