One person lost his life on Saturday when a gas-laden truck lost control and fell on two vehicles on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway at Orimerunmu in the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The Spokesperson for Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta on Saturday. Akinbiyi explained that the accident which occurred at 7:03am on Saturday, involved an unregistered Volvo Truck loaded with gas; a Toyota Corolla with registration number EQ 165 LSR; and Toyota Sienna marked FKJ 341 GC.He added that eight people were involved in the accident which comprised three men, three women and two minors.He said that the deceased had been deposited at the morgue of Famobis hospital in the area.
