Three persons have been arrested by the police for allegedly looting a warehouse belonging to Sky Industry Limited, OPIC Estate, Agbara, Ogun State.
The suspects were identified on Thursday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, as Jelili Waheed, Otun Taye and Olu Adeniran. The trio were arrested following information received at the Agbara police station that some hoodlums were looting the warehouse of the said company.With the report, the DPO of the division, SP Saleh Dahiru, had mobilized detectives to the scene, where the three suspects were arrested by 4pm on Tuesday.
One Iveco truck registered as AKD 747 XZ, with which the suspect planned to convey one Forklift, one 300KVA generator and one 25KVA generator from the company were recovered by the police, Oyeyemi added. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun had ordered thorough investigations into the past activities of the suspects with a view to charging them to court soon.
