At least, four persons have been allegedly shot by some people believed to be security agents in a market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.The incident, according to reliable sources, occurred around 8.pm.
However, DAILY POST gathered that one of the four people who were allegedly shot died a few minutes after he was shot.The three other victims who sustained bullet wounds according to the sources, one included Kehinde Omoboye, a motorcyclist and another trader at the market.A woman identified as Iya Ibeji, who is the mother of one of the victims, noted that she and the family of another victim spent the sum of two hundred and thirty thousand naira to remove the bullets from two of the victims.
“Yes, it is true. We have gone home, but when they called us, they said that Amotekun shot some people. And there was no fight. They just heard the gunshots. But, my own son, Kehinde Omoboye was one of the victims. He was shot when he was about to leave the market.
