The Ondo State House of Assembly has issued fresh conditions to the embattled deputy governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to suspend the impeachment process against him.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the assembly’s spokesperson, Hon. Olatunji Oshati Emmanuel. He, however, noted that the assembly was only exercising its responsibility under Section 188 of the 1999 Constitution, having received a petition accusing the deputy governor of some allegations of gross misconduct and abuse of office.
