Members of the Ondo state House of Assembly, have issued fresh conditions to the embattled deputy governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to suspend the impeachment process against him.
Recall that the leadership of the party have waded into the crisis at a peace meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the assembly, Hon Olatunji Oshati Emmanuel, in a statement issued in Akure, the state capital, said that they’re open to the intervention of APC National leaders for a political solution. ” The Hon. Speaker at the meeting restated that the House was only exercising its responsibility under S.188 of the 1999 Constitution, having received a petition accusing the Deputy Governor of some allegations of gross misconduct and abuse of office.
