The Publicity Secretary of the Delta State chapter of All Progressives Congress, Valentine Onojeghuo, has reacted to claims that former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, worked against President Bola Tinubu, saying there was no iota of truth in the allegation.
In Monday’s petition to Tinubu, Inana alleged that Omo-Agege lured suspended Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, into the APC presidential primary to derail the president’s ambition.
The Delta APC spokesman, however, refuted the allegation, saying the signatories of the petition are nothing more than ‘bedroom executives’ of Ojougboh who are yet to come to terms with his ‘inglorious expulsion from the party.’

The trio spoke on Sunday at a reception for dignitaries that attended the Thanksgiving Service organised by the family of former Governor Nyesom Wike at Wike’s Rumuepirikom’s country home Obio-Akpor. He said they were confident that Tinubu would change the narratives in the country and urged the other arms of the government to work together with the President to move Nigeria forward. While observing that a good dance begins with the first step, Odili said Tinubu had “taken very correct steps” as the dance had…

Over confident and arrogant, Emefiele captained the Central Bank like some kind of an emperor. He was heartless, dismissive and his monetary policies caused the needless death of very many Nigerians. In fact, there was much rejoicing on social media when it became known that the DSS had further picked him up, and taken him into their custody for questioning. For Emefiele, whose scorecard was already poor, he only capped it all with his ill-timed currency swap policy that even ended up as a vanishing act! When he came on board as Central Bank Governor, the naira was going for $1 to N170 on the parallel market. Shockingly, at the time of his exit, a dollar cost N800. The interest rate at the banks climbed high during the period, and inflation rate was officially put at twenty two and a half percent.…
