The National Executive Council of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has announced dates for the burial of its late President-General, Prof. George Obiozor.
Ohanaeze secretary general, Ambassador Okey Emuchay, who announced the burial arrangement on Friday, shortly after an emergency meeting of the NEC at the national secretariat of the organisation in Enugu, said that the late Obiozor would be buried on Friday, February 10, 2023 in his home town in Awo-Omamma, Imo State.
Emuchay said that there would be activities prior to the burial of the late president-general, including a valedictory session at the national secretariat and other activities at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos and Abuja. He also announced that the burial committee would be chaired by former PG of Ohanaeze, Gary Enwo-Igariwey, with the PG of Ohaneze in Imo State, I.C Ihemedu, as its secretary, adding that all members of NEC and other stakeholders across the seven states of Ohanaeze would also form the burial committee.All rights reserved.
