The Ogun State Government plans to construct additional housing estates across the state in 2025, driven by its commitment to providing affordable and quality housing for its citizens.

In pursuit of its goal to provide affordable, decent, and quality housing units for its citizens, the Ogun State Government has announced its plans to build more housing estates across the three senatorial districts of the state in 2025.

The General Manager of Ogun State Housing Corporation, Wale Ojo, revealed this during the 2025 budget defense at the State House of Assembly, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, stating that the corporation has received approval from the governor to proceed with the construction. Ojo attributed the corporation's unprecedented achievements in the housing sector over the past five years to the high level of support from Governor Dapo Abiodun. He emphasized that the governor's timely approval and financing of numerous housing projects significantly contributed to the organization's 2024 budget performance. Ojo reaffirmed the corporation's commitment, vision, and objectives to create smart, gated, and qualitative residential housing estates, aligning with the government's agenda on Housing Development and Management. In his remarks, Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Musefiu Lamidi, commended the corporation's leadership for its 2024 budget performance, the completion and delivery of various housing estates across the state, and expressed confidence that the corporation would exceed its 2025 budget performance and project delivery
