Governor Abiodun has presented the 2025 budget proposal to the Ogun State House of Assembly and inaugurated a newly refurbished assembly complex which has never been renovated since its construction 45 years ago. The speaker, Oludaisi Elemide, praised the governor for prioritizing the remodelling of the complex, calling this a legacy for the state.
On Wednesday, Abiodun presented the N1.054 trillion 2025 budget proposal to the Ogun State House of Assembly. Following the budget presentation, the governor inaugurated the refurbished assembly complex. According to lawmakers, this is the first time the complex has been renovated since it was built 45 years ago.
Oludaisi Elemide, the speaker of the house, commended the governor for upgrading the building, stating that prioritizing the remodelling has strengthened the foundation of democracy in the state. The speaker described the transformation as a legacy that would be etched in the annals of the state
