There was a bloody clash between residents of a host community and the students of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, leaving four houses burnt.
“He was beaten by the community for being a cultist. He was left after he was beaten, but, when he was taken to the hospital, he was already pronounced dead.
Oyeyemi said “some students suspected to be cultists beat two students for refusing to be initiated by them . “The news filtered into the students who went to the Baale’s house and burnt the house .They also burnt a bakery and others. “They have to maintain security of that place till tomorrow or next tomorrow till the students vacate the area .So our men are on ground they have been joined by military men from Ilese barracks . The sitiasion has been brought under control .”
