Bendel Insurance put up an impressive display as they defeated Akwa United 2-0 in the opening fixture of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League
Imade Osehenkhoe gave the away side the lead on 37th minute following a superb pass from Divine Nwachukwu.It was the first time Insurance have scored two goals in an NPFL game since they lost 3-2 to Zamfara United in October 2007.
