President of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum , Yerima Shettima, has decried the plight of the people of northern Nigeria.Shettima noted that the youths were fundamental to sustainable peace and security in the country.He said providing jobs was not enough, but a conducive environment to develop their potential, as well as skills acquisition.
Shettima charged the state and local governments to complement the efforts of the federal government.“The youth and the women have suffered so much”, he added. Commenting on the 2023 presidential election, Shettima advised the North to unite and give all candidates a level playing field.
