Governor Mutfwang conveyed his feelings during a reception organised by the North Central Governors Forum in honour of Sen. Akume. A statement issued in Jos by the director of press and public affairs, Gyang Bere, said the event held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, was attended by diverse political figures.
Governor Mutfwang described Sen Akume as an exemplary representative of the North Central Zone, citing his impressive track record as a two-term governor of Benue State, a two-term senator and recently, a minister. “I am honoured to be present to celebrate a seasoned politician, a proficient administrator and an individual who has risen to the highest echelon of government. This appointment is fitting and well-deserved and I am confident that the trust placed on you by the president will remain unwavering,” the governor said.
