The Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership, CACOL, has warned state governors that the federal government’ approval of N180 billion in palliatives must not be siphoned.

DAILY POST recalls that the National Economic Council okayed the disbursement of 180 billion as palliatives to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal nationwide. Accordingly, the civil society organisation cautioned that governors should not distribute the palliatives to their friends, families and politicians, but to the masses.
