Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, two major contenders for Nasarawa State governorship position have stepped down for Governor Abdullahi Sule, who is seeking re-election on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
This followed the visit of Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Sa’ad Abubakar II, to Lafia recently.
Represented by Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the Sultan urged the SDP candidate, Mohammed Alfa-Nyass; and his NNPP counterpart, Abdullahi Maidoya to step down for Sule in Saturday’s governorship election.
