Some of the officers who spoke to the newspaper expressed their displeasure over the lack of payment of their entitlements. The officers said they spent personal funds throughout the elections, with the expectation that they would be refunded.One of them had said, “We have not been paid our allowances for the 2023 general elections. But those in other sister agencies have been paid. We do not know what is keeping our allowances back when others have been paid.“Before the Presidential election of February 25th, 2023. All personnel from our sister agencies were paid their allowances from their respective offices.
