Billy Gillis-Harry, President of PETROAN, has refuted claims that petrol from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is N75 higher than the N970 per litre price set by Dangote refinery. He emphasized that no new prices have been announced by NNPC Port Harcourt Refinery, and members are still purchasing petrol at the old price pending any new announcements.

The President of the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, Billy Gillis-Harry, has denied claims made by the association's Public Relations Officer, Dr. Joseph Obele, regarding the price of petrol from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited being N75 higher than the N970 per litre offered by Dangote refinery. In a statement on Wednesday, Gillis-Harry clarified that no new price has been announced by the NNPC Port Harcourt refinery.

He stated that PETROAN members have continued to purchase petrol according to the old pricing until a new price is released. The Port Harcourt Refinery, which resumed production on Tuesday, has already dispatched petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, and kerosene, with other products expected to follow
